Airline Experience Review
There’s something truly unparalleled about turning an airplane galley into my personal VIP photo booth😊, surrounded by the world’s most charming and beautiful flight crew. There I am, looking exceptionally sharp in my tailored striped blazer, completely matching the energy of the Emirates cabin crew who clearly decided that schedules and safety briefings could wait for a moment of pure, unadulterated fun centralised around me. From throwing up double peace signs to executing perfectly coordinated finger hearts, the vibes in that galley was nothing short of extraordinary. Complete with a cameo from the flight purser Ange, who also didn't want to miss out on the action. These are the rare, spontaneous travel memories that make a long-haul flight feel like a breeze and so much fun. These are the occasions that you didn't just fly to your destination; you cruised there in style with the best flight crew in the sky.
And then there was the World of Fine Dining…....
1. The Signature Caviar Course (Image 2)
This is the hallmark Emirates First Class caviar service.
The Delicacy: A generous serving of fine chilled premium ‘Ossetra’ caviar sourced from the 'Siberian' sturgeon presented on custom Royal Doulton chinaware.
Traditional Accompaniments: Neatly organized in a side serving dish with separate compartments containing:
- Finely chopped chives, Grated egg yolk, Grated egg white, Finely minced white onions, Sour cream and a fresh lemon wedge
2. Amuse-Bouche (Image 3)
On the Left: Slices of fresh, lightly seared or cured scallop paired with compressed grapefruit, cucumber Lychee, topped with a small garnish of caviar.
In the Snifter Glass: Tender cubes of roasted beef mixed with fresh microgreens, micro herbs, and crisp croutons to add texture.
2. Appetizer Selection
Cream Soup Course (Image 4): A smooth, velvety puréed soup (typically a signature wild mushroom, potato leek, or lobster bisque regularly featured on the menu). It is finished beautifully with a generous dusting of freshly cracked black pepper right in the center.
Seafood Starter (Image 5): A beautifully plated cold seafood dish featuring thick, premium cuts of smoked salmon. It is layered over a creamy salad base of herb potato salad or celeriac remoulade and garnished with a fresh sprig of dill and a juicy lemon wedge.
3. Main Course: Roasted Rack of Lamb (Image 6)
A perfectly prepared lamb main course.
The Meat: A classic French-trimmed rack of lamb, roasted and glazed with a
rich, glossy pan jus or reduction.
The Side: A golden-brown, crispy fondant potato or potato gratin dumpling.
Sauce: An extra pour of the rich meat reduction is served alongside in a small
white porcelain creamer.
4. Main Course: Hyderabadi Biryani (Image 7)
A staple of Emirates’ Middle Eastern and South Asian regional offerings.
The Base: A fragrant bed of perfectly fluffy, long-grain basmati saffron
rice studded with raisins and whole spices.
The Meat: Thick, succulent pieces of chicken slow cooked in a rich, deeply
aromatic masala gravy.
Garnish: Topped with a fresh, bright sprig of Italian flat-leaf parsley.
Without any hesitation, this was the most enjoyable flight I've ever had on any airline. What made the experience truly exceptional was the flight crew, whose engaging personalities, relaxed approach, and genuine ability to connect with passengers perfectly matched my energy and made the journey incredibly unforgettable 😊
